Mugs, Cups and glasses

When you drink loose leaf tea it is essential that you make it easy for yourself by having the right 'Vessel'.

A mug with an infuser and a lid is the best option for you.   Especially if you are drinking tea by yourself and don't want to make up a whole teapot full.   Or maybe your other half prefers a different kind of tea - then you can both have your own mug and there is no fighting!

There are all sorts of different types of mugs from porcelain, fine bone china or glass, with equally as many different types of infusers.  All work well - it is just personal preference.

The infusers should have mesh or holes that are small enough so not too much drops through into your tea, but not too small or it takes too long for the water to infuse through.

The lid has a double purpose - to keep tea warm when infusing and then to act as a base for the strainer when you have finished infusing your tea.  You place the strainer and the used leaves on it and it keeps in the drips.
