'Pineapple Bliss' Iced Tea Recipe
This is so simple to make! The addition of Stevia brings out the natural sweetness of the pineapply flavour of this tea. Simply Divine Iced!
It is:
Caffeine FREE.
No added sugar! (the only sugar comes from the pineapple and apple fruit pieces in the tea).
Full of antioxidants from the Fruits and Herbs.
To make one glass:
You will need:
- 2tsps 'Pineapple Pleasure' Fruit Infusion
- 1/2 tsp Stevia leaves
Put 2 teaspoons of 'Pineapple Pleasure' and 1/2 tsp Stevia leaves together into a 250ml mug using a tea strainer or infuser. Pour boiled water over the leaves and infuse for 5-10 minutes, then remove the infuser, cover the tea and cool in the fridge.
When the tea is cool and you are ready to continue making your iced tea, put a good handful of ice into a tall glass (approximately 400mls). Pour the now cool naturally sweetened Pineapple Pleasure Infusion over the ice into the glass.
And that is it!
If you are too impatient to wait for the tea to cool down, you can use it straight away and just use a bigger glass with more ice. But the ice will melt quicker and the flavours will be diluted.
To make one Jug
This recipe was made using our 1.5L Iced Tea Jugs, which has a built in infuser.
You will need:
- 8-9 tsps 'Pineapple Pleasure' Fruit Infusion
- 2.5 tsps Stevia leaves
- Boiling Water
Put 8 or 9 teaspoons of 'Pineapple Pleasure' and 2.5 teaspoons of the Stevia leaves into the infuser section of the Iced Tea Jug. Pour 4.5 cups (250ml sized cups) of boiled water over the leaves, and leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes, then remove the infuser, close the lid of the Jug and cool in the fridge.
When the tea is cool it is ready to drink. Just add some ice to the top of the jug if you wish, or serve in glasses that have plenty of ice in them.
You will get approximately 4-5 large glasses of tea from this jug.
