Bodum Ceylon Iced Tea Jug 1.5L

The BODUM® CEYLON Iced Tea Jugs are great for all occasions, during hot summers where you want an iced tea.

In addition to iced tea, the Ceylon can be used for all kinds of delicious drinks like orange juice with mint leaves, sangria with lots of fruit slices or ice water with cucumber or lime slices.

This iced tea jug can be used for both tea bags and loose left tea to make a wodnerful healthy drink from your favourite tea. 

• The lid has a built in screening filter to help prevent particulates of tea that might have escaped the filter from flowing into your cup when you are pouring.
• All parts are dishwasher safe and can be put in the fridge.
• 1.5L capacity - which gives you approximately 4-6 glasses.
• Removable filter for easy cleaning and also means you can use jug alone without filter for other cold drinks.

A simple way to create an iced tea using this jug is to add your preferred tea leaves into the removable filter, pour 1-2 cups of boiling water over the leaves and add your preferred amount of sugar (if you want it sweetened). 

After the sugar has dissolved, and the tea has brewed to the desired time, then remove the filter and fill the jug with cold water from the tap. Close the lid, and leave the tea jug in the fridge over night. The next morning you will have tasty iced tea. (You can add lots of ice as well as the cold water if you want to drink your iced tea straight away).
