Packaging:

We save on packaging and so do you! The foil bags come with labels on them so you still have all the brewing information etc.

They are also resealable so you can keep your tea nice and fresh.  Ideal to use as a refill bag for your tins!

This foil bag contains 3000gms of organic and wildcrafted herbs in therapeutic dosages. 

The tea is blended and packed when you order.  This ensures the ultimate freshness of your herbal blend.

Storage: 

Keep away from light, moisture and heat - preferably in a cool dark cupboard or pantry.  On the windowsill is not ideal!

Generally herbs don’t have as longer shelf life as tea due to the high content of volatile oils (these are the oils that often carry the health benefits).  However if you store your herbal blends properly they will be effective for 6-10months. 

How many cups will I get?

1 heaped teaspoon of the herbal blends is approximately 1-2 grams – so you will get around 75 – 150 cups from a 150gm bag.  It really depends how strong you like your tea and how big your ‘heaped’ teaspoon is!

Brewing Instructions:

1 heaped tsp per cup, pour 100° water over leaves, infuse 10 mins. Drink 1 cup before bed for a 'morning action', or as required thoroughout the day..  Shake to mix up before measuring our your teaspoon. 

Whilst this is a gentle blend iIf you are using this blend during the day it is important to test it's effects on you before putting yourself in a public situation.  It may have a strong effect just when you don't want it to! :)

Caution: Senna or any laxative is contraindicated in Intestinal obstruction, Inflammatory bowel disease, appendicitis, pregnancy and lactation, abdominal pain of unknown origin.

NOTE:  It is not wise to take stimulating laxatives long term as this can result in a lazy bowel that then depends on the laxatives to work
