No gluten, sugars, caffeine, artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
This tin contains 50gms of organic herbs in therapeutic dosages.
It is packed into a brushed stainless steel tin with dosage instructions on the label.
The tin has a moisture seal in the lid and is ideal for refilling with our bulk bags. Tins are the best solution for keeping tea fresh as they have the best seal.
Tins are normally $10.90 – you save $3.50 when buying them filled with tea!
Storage: Keep away from light, moisture and heat - preferably in a cool dark cupboard or pantry. On the window sill is not ideal!
Generally herbs don’t have as longer shelf life as tea due to the high content of volatile oils (these are the oils that often carry the health benefits). However if you store your herbal blends properly they will be effective for 6-10months.
How many cups will I get?
1 heaped teaspoon of the herbal blends is approximately 1-2 grams – so you will get around 25 – 50 cups from a 50gm tin. It really depends how strong you like your tea and how big your ‘heaped’ teaspoon is!
Detox me is primarily made up of roots and seeds which means it is heavier than leaves - use half a teaspoon and it will go further.
Brewing Instructions: 1 heaped tsp per cup, pour 100° water over leaves, infuse 10 mins. Drink 1 cup 3x daily for medicinal effect. Shake to mix up before measuring our your teaspoon
Iced Tea Instructions: Put 2 heaped teaspoons into your mug and infuse for a minimum of 10 minutes. Chill in the fridge, once cold add ice to a glass and and pour over chilled Detox-me Infusion.
