Tea really is a cup full of so much potential!

The Health Benefits of Tea are widely documented with a huge amount of research happening these days, to back up many thousands of years of traditionally reported benefits.

Black, Green and White Teas are all rich in wonderful antioxidants, which is the key health property of tea.  

Antioxidants help us fight against damaging free radicals, formed as a by-product of normal metabolism, stress, exposure to sun and chemical and environmental pollutants.

Free radicals are responsible for premature ageing, a weakened immune system and many chronic diseases.

Research on the Health Benefits of Green Tea is huge and the evidence is very compelling.  Likewise there is now many studies being carried out on the Health Benefits of Black Tea, with some great findings on just how good the humble cuppa is for you!

Being a herbalist I am also particularly interested in the Health Benefits of Herbal teas as well, which is where the fun never stops, as there are so many different herbs and blends that can make herbal teas yum as well as health enhancing.
