All about No Sneeze
What’s in it?
Nettle - reduces the release of inflammatory allergic factors into the bloodstream. It is high in minerals such as silica and vitamin C – these nutrients can help improve the strength and health of the connective tissue of the sinus cavities – thus making them less sensitive. Finally nettle acts as an astringent on the sinus cavities helping to dry up excessive mucus production.
Eyebright - The tannins cause the astringent action on the tissues and also act as an anti-microbial – this means it aids in drying up the sinuses and also prevents sinus infections.
Eyebright contains a flavonoid called Quercetin. This antioxidant stabilizes mast cells responsible for the release of histamine and also reduces other inflammatory pathways, thus reducing allergic reactions.
Peppermint - Stimulates healthy digestion – lowered digestive function is closely connected to allergic and congestive conditions. As an antiseptic and anti-microbial it is also useful for preventing infections of the sinuses.
