All about Mums Milk
What's in it?
Fennel - these amazing seeds are very high in essential oils that are known to aid digestion. Because of this they are ideal for helping with a bloated and uncomfortable digestive tract. They are traditionally specific for colic due to their ability to reduce intestinal spasms. Also known as a galactagogue - which is a herb that increases milk flow in lactating mothers. Since ancient Greek times it was used to promote the good flow of nourishing breast milk.
Nettle - Can't not be in any breastfeeding formula due to it being an extremely nutrient rich herb with Vitamins A, B2, C, E, K and carotenoids. Minerals calcium, potassium, silica and iron, manganese and copper. Nettle is also known as a Galactagogue to help increase milk flow.
Chamomile - Specific for gastrointestinal disturbance associated with nervous irritability. Reduces intestinal gas and colic – reduces gastrointestinal spasm and cramping.
Lemon Balm - used for insomnia and sleeping disorders. May help to reduce anxiety, irritability. Also used for assisting with post-natal despression.

Dosage
1 heaped tsp per cup, pour 100° water over leaves, infuse 10 mins. Drink 1 cup 3x daily for medicinal effect. Shake to mix up before measuring our your teaspoon
